Frostburg State Seniors Nick Walker and Bennett Schiltz Sweep CAC Baseball Weekly Awards
YORK, Pa. -- Frostburg State swept this week's awards as seniors Nick Walker and Bennett Schiltz were named the CAC Baseball Players of the Week for April 13, 2015.

Frostburg State senior Nick Walker was honored as the CAC Player of the Week after helping the Bobcats to a 6-0 week and the top seed in the CAC Tournament. Walker hit 14-for-28 at the plate (.500), driving in 10 runs and scoring five. Five of his 14 hits went for extra bases, including three doubles, a triple and a home run. In the Bobcats' 10-0 win over Salisbury, Walker went 4-for-4 with four runs, two RBIs and a home run and was just a triple shy of the cycle. He also stole five bases for the week and reached base safely in all six contests.

Frostburg State senior Bennett Schiltz was named CAC Pitcher of the Week after finishing the week with a 2-0 record, not allowing a run in 14.0 innings. Schiltz struck out 10 batters and surrendered just 10 hits, all singles. He earned the win in the first game of the doubleheader against top-ranked Salisbury, pitching 7.0 innings and allowing just five hits while fanning five. He opened the week with a victory against Penn State Harrisburg.
