YORK, Pa. --William Paterson freshman Troy Hartung was selected as the CAC Golfer of the Week for Oct. 28, 2015.

William Paterson freshman Troy Hartung was named the CAC Golfer of the Week after tying for third overall at the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptor Invitational on Oct. 26. Hartung posted a season-low round of six-over par 76 at Pennsauken Country Club, helping the Pioneers tie for second in the team standings in a field of 14.

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE

Four of the seven CAC men's golf squads were in action over the past two weeks, wrapping up the fall season ... New Jersey City freshman Alexander Sill broke his own school record for low 36-hole score and was one shot shy of his head coach’s program 18-hole standard as he placed 11th in a field of 28 golfers at the Andrew Geyer Classic, hosted by Wesley on Oct. 25-26 at the Wild Quail Golf and Country Club in Wyoming, Del. Sill shot a two-day total of 161 (+17) with rounds of 80 and 81 ... Penn State Harrisburg placed eighth and Wesley placed 13th out of 19 teams at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational on Oct. 19 ... PSH was led by senior Tyler Massar with a five-over 76 to tie for 17th place, while Tyler Shank tied for 22nd with a six-over 77 ... Dylan Chessher led Wesley at the F&M Invite with a six-over 77 ... Wesley closed out its fall campaign by hosting the Andrew Geyer Classic, a tournament played in honor of former Wolverine standout Andrew Geyer.
