Christopher Newport Junior Victoria Perry and York Senior Kate Lutte Earn CAC Women's Soccer Weekly Awards
YORK, Pa. -- Christopher Newport junior Victoria Perry and York senior Kate Lutte were selected as the CAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week for Nov. 2, 2015.

Christopher Newport junior Victoria Perry was named the CAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals, including the game-winner, to help CNU lock up its third straight conference regular season championship. Perry and the Captains posted a 6-0 win against Marymount last Wednesday to secure homefield advantage in the CAC postseason. With the two scores last week, she finished the regular season ranked second in the CAC in total points and goals scored, and first in game-winning goals. She now ranks second all-time at CNU with 12 career game-winners.

York senior Kate Lutte was named the CAC Defensive Player of the Week after posting a shutout victory in net against Frostburg State in opening round of the CAC Tournament. Lutte made five stops against the Bobcats on her way to her fourth clean sheet of the season. Earlier in the week, she made six saves in an overtime loss to St. Mary's in the regular season finale. For the week, Lutte posted a .846 save percentage and 0.98 goals against average.
