Marymount freshman Gina Reyes the CAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after leading the Saints to the second top team finish in program history, both of which have occured this season. Reyes took fourth in a field of 84 runners at the Hornet Harrier Invitational, crossing in 20:05.7 in the 5k course.

Christopher Newport is ranked 3rd and Mary Washington is 8th in the South/Southeast Regional Rankings ... Abigail May led CNU at the UVA/Panorama Farms Invitational with a ninth-place individual finish (20:30.1), which also marked the top performance by a Division III competitor. May and the Captains finished second in the team standings ... Frostburg State senior Gabbi Maher posted a season-best 26:05.44 at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational, grabbing 73rd place on the 6K course ... Southern Virginia's Leah Huber helped the Knights to second place at the Hornet Harrier/Commonwealth Challenge. Huber broke the record for the fastest 5k time in Southern Virginia Division III history with a time of 20:06.3, finishing in sixth place ... York junior Kathleen Cannon led the Spartans to a seventh place finish at the 19-team Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday. Cannon placed 26th of 258 runners as she crossed the finish line in time of 22:59.77, a personal best for the junior. Cannon finished ninth among Division III competitors in the event.
