York sophomore Jess Delviscio was honored as the CAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week after helping the Spartans to a sixth-place team finish at the DeSales Invitational on Saturday. Delviscio was the top CAC finisher at the meet, taking 29th place with a time of 23:21 in a field of 230 runners.

Five CAC teams - York, Salisbury, Frostburg State, St. Mary's, and Penn State Harrisburg - competed at the DeSales Invitational ... CNU, Mary Washington, and Marymount were idle last week ... Frostburg State junior Faith Thackston powered the Bobcats at the DeSales Invitational with an 80th-place finish in 24:48, marking the second-straight meet that she was the team's top finisher. Frostburg State finished in 21st place of 35 teams ... St. Mary's sophomore Halcyon Ruskin placed 99th at the DeSales Invitational, leading the Seahawks with a 25:23 finish ... Alison Schwartz was the top Salisbury finisher at DeSales, posting a time of 23:26 to finish in 33rd place. The Sea Gulls placed seventh in the team standings ... Wesley finished out of 19 teams at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial, led by Dieunise Desir in 37th place.
