Wesley Sophomores Dajahn Lowery and Patrick Schlosser Secure CAC Men's Track & Field Weekly Awards
YORK, Pa. -- Wesley sophomores Dajahn Lowery and Patrick Schlosser secured CAC Men's Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors for April 28, 2015.

Wesley sophomore DaJahn Lowery was selected as the CAC Track Athlete of the Week after winning two races at the Delaware Classic and contributing to a record-breaking relay squad the Penn Relays. Lowery won the 100 meters with a time of 10.78, which is now the best time in the conference and 21st in the nation. He also took top honors in the 200 meters at 22.31, which sits eighth in the conference. At the Penn Relays, Lowery helped the 4x200 relay break the school record with a time of 1:26.69. The relay took 12th overall out of 44 groups.

Wesley sophomore Patrick Schlosser earned the CAC Field Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after breaking his own school record in the decathloon with 6,211 points at the Penn Relays. Schlosser finished third in the event and his mark ranks first in the conference and 12th in the nation. The events he won during the decathlon were the 100 meter dash (11.02), 400 meter dash (49.48), 1500 meter dash (4:44.13), shot put (38-11.50) and discus (134-0).

NOTES AROUND THE CONFERENCE
CAC teams competed in their final tune-ups for the CAC Championships last week ... The CAC Championship is set for May 2-3 at York ... CAC Silver Anniversary Team members will be honored at the Championships on Sunday, May 3 at 12:30 p.m. ... J.R. Lowery led Frostburg State at the Paul Kaiser Track & Field Classic at Shippensburg with ECAC-qualifying marks in the hammer throw (51.13m) and shot put (15.60) ... Salisbury junior Luke Campbell was the only Division III competitors in the 100-meter hurdles at the historic Penn Relays, taking 16th with a time of 14.23 seconds, finishing ahead of runners from Division I schools like Auburn University, Georgia Tech and the University of South Carolina. The time was Campbell's second-best of the season ... York's Michael Stetson broke the school record in the 3,000 meters (8:38.23) at the Paul Kaiser Classic on Saturday.
