Frostburg State Junior Devin Bell, Salisbury Senior Tyler Hrycak, and Salisbury Junior Ryan Daiss Earn CAC Baseball Weekly Honors
YORK, Pa. -- Frostburg State junior Devin Bell, Salisbury senior Tyler Hrycak, and Salisbury junior Ryan Daiss were tabbed as the CAC Baseball Players of the Week for May 2, 2016.

Frostburg State junior Devin Bell was selected as the CAC Co-Player of the Week after hitting three home runs in the Bobcats' doubleheader sweep over Mount Aloysius last Wednesday. Bell combined to hit 6-for-8 (.750) with three homers and nine RBIs in the twinbill, including a 4-for-4 performance in game two with two bombs and six RBIs. He has homered in five-straight games and has seven bombs during that stretch.

Salisbury senior Tyler Hrycak was named the CAC Co-Player of the Week after going 4-for-4 and driving in a career-high seven RBIs in the Sea Gulls' victory over Stevenson last Tuesday. Hrycak came through with the bases loaded in consecutive innings for the Sea Gulls, driving a bases-clearing double in the third, before smashing a grand slam in the fourth. All seven RBIs were a part of an 11-run outburst in the two winnings to give Salisbury the lead for good over the Mustangs.

Salisbury junior Ryan Daiss claimed CAC Pitcher of the Week accolades for the second time this season after picking up the win for the Sea Gulls in its lone game of the week against Stevenson. Daiss pitched four innings in relief, allowing just three hits and one unearned run while striking out five.
